Freestyle blog entry

well i have never been much of a reader, when i was younger or up to this point in my life. my father and brothers are exceptional readers, and i think that is why all three of them are intelligent. i have had people try to encourage me to read books, but i have never given into trying it out. i remember when i was in elementry school i had a reading problem and was a bit slower when it came to reading. i think i lost confidence in reading and never really turned to it as i got older. i have always read what i had to for school, such as books, textbooks, novels, etc...although i enjoy reading sports magazines. this past summer i decided i wanted to buy a book and start reading. alot of the intelligent people i know read alot of books so i think it can pay off for me, if i ever get into it. i am begining to realize that if i start developing a passion for reading then i will become a stronger writer and be more intelligent in general. i think this class will help me understand reading and literature into a deeper perspective and after compltetion of the class i think i may become a person who likes ot read.
