Freestyle blog entry

well i have never been much of a reader, when i was younger or up to this point in my life. my father and brothers are exceptional readers, and i think that is why all three of them are intelligent. i have had people try to encourage me to read books, but i have never given into trying it out. i remember when i was in elementry school i had a reading problem and was a bit slower when it came to reading. i think i lost confidence in reading and never really turned to it as i got older. i have always read what i had to for school, such as books, textbooks, novels, etc...although i enjoy reading sports magazines. this past summer i decided i wanted to buy a book and start reading. alot of the intelligent people i know read alot of books so i think it can pay off for me, if i ever get into it. i am begining to realize that if i start developing a passion for reading then i will become a stronger writer and be more intelligent in general. i think this class will help me understand reading and literature into a deeper perspective and after compltetion of the class i think i may become a person who likes ot read.

hi all,

my name is Travis Eastwood and i am a junior at Eastern Oregon University. I am studying business admin and minoring in marketing. i enjoy athletics, exercising, the outdoors, music, family and friends and watching sports. my favorite teams are the denver broncos, LA LAKERS, boston red sox, and the usc trojan football team. my favorite food is salmon and wild game meats. my favorite drink is vitamin water. i ahve a large family, 6 borthers and sister total. i am right in the middle. i have two nephews and alot of aunts and uncles. well i am looking forward to this class and look forward to blogging with the rest of my classmates!!!
